Self Confidence In a SNAP Workshop
This is one of my favorite sessions to deliver. Self confidence is something many people struggle with, search for and wait to show up when they need it. I know i have done those same things. I look at self confidence as a muscle. it is very powerful and we exercise it a lot as we learn to walk, talk and face the many other challenges of moving through the stages of early development.
We look at what happens when we face fearful situations, when we get uncomfortable, when we get into a cycle of avoidance and procrastination. What we are really after is a way to reverse a vicious cycle and turn it around into a virtuous cycle that supports increased courage and confidence when we face similar situations in the future.
This session is titled, Self Confidence in a Snap and the goal is to be able to let someone snap their fingers to trigger self confidence whenever and wherever they need it. That feeling when one of the people in the session realizes that they truly can learn to accept fear for what it is and make a decision to step through the fear and take action - is the best feeling as a trainer and workshop facilitator.
